The Sales Floor Manager is the leader of primary contacts between Green Gold Group’s customers and the company. They are responsible for educating customers on Green Gold Group’s products and providing an excellent customer service experience. A top requirement of this position will be the ability to communicate effectively and have a good understanding of how to meet the customers’ needs. The Sales Floor Manager will be responsible for using Green Gold Group’s point of sale system and must practice and be compliant with state regulations and with Green Gold Group’s standard operating procedures and protocol. Proper cash/debit management and researching, documenting and resolving cash/debit issues will be a responsibility of utmost importance. Successful candidates will have the ability to promote and maintain a positive work environment that is grounded in customer service and company growth.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and assist in the training of new staff. Lead staff in highlighting products and offering information on cannabis products, accessories, and apparel. Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals for individual budtenders and the store. Perform daily observations on Budtenders and provide feedback communicate clearly with all customers and coworkers
  • Maintain and monitor Green Gold Group’s product menu on all platforms (website, Leafly, Weedmaps, etc.) and ensure all information is present and accurate.
  • Count Inventory and execute proper cash/debit management. Research, document and resolve cash/debit issues. Finalize all sales in METRC on a daily basis.
  • Lead in-store product merchandising of displays and apparel and ensure the sales floor is presented to the set standards at all times.
  • Monitor, organize, and present the information in Guest Feedback forms to management. Monitor Green Gold Group’s inventories so that we may always have as diverse of a menu as possible.
  • Provide a high-end customer service experience with a focus centered on customer engagement and education.
  • Must have a can-do attitude at all times with a strong work ethic focused on Green Gold Group’s long-term mission. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the legal cannabis industry. Ensure proper, accurate record keeping with Green Gold Group’s tracking software and the State's online database.
  • Must have awareness of current product availability with an ability to describe the production process behind each and every one of Green Gold Group’s products. Maintain strict confidentiality while handling and managing customer information. Assists with the presentation of a well-stocked store front that is clean, safe and secure ensuring a positive retail experience.
  • Accurately execute sales transactions via the point-of-sale system in an efficient manner.
  • Maintain a current understanding of trends and research in the cannabis industry and have the ability to help customers with up-to-date information and knowledge base. Approach each and every customer interaction with a positive attitude, a welcoming tone of voice and effective communication skills that helps validate the customers concerns and needs. Answers customers’ questions, resolves problems, and maintains customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources.
  • Must be sensitive and empathetic to the needs of each and every customer. Awareness of how state reporting systems and compliance regulations affects customer purchasing limits.
  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring employee productivity, monitoring efficiency of all. Attend regular meetings with upper management to stay up-to-date with organizational changes, issues and improvements.
  • Completes any other duties assigned by management in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Night and weekend availability mandatory for consideration
  • Maintain ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business
  • Ability to qualify for MA MTC/ME agent licensure
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations pertaining to medical and/or adult-use cannabis products
  • High School Diploma or GEC equivalent required

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of dispensary
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to twist, stoop, reach, stretch, walk, carry boxes and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Compensation commensurate with experience.
